Are north eastern states likely to be expelled from citizenship ammendment bill?.

Context: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma who attended the fourth conclave of NEDA(NORTH EAST DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE)on Monday told Union Home Minster Amit Shah that the Northeast has fears on the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and urged him to take all the States of the region into confidence before bringing in the legislation again. Mizoram chief minister.Zoramthang requested the union home minster to expell north eastern states from the bill. Background: -Citizenship Amendment Bill,this is an amendment to citizenship act of 1955 and provides Indian citizenship to migrants if they completes 7 years of stay in any part of India. -This bill also provides Indian Citizenship to non-muslim, Buddhists, Jain's, Sikhs and Paris from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. -This bill was priliminarly introduced on July 19 2016 and handed over to joint parliament committee for approval. - The committe gave its approval on January 7 2019,and the bill was passed in lokh sabha on January 8 2019. Why the centre is keen on implementing CAB? -DURING 2014 election campaign,BJP government has promised to sort a way for Hindu refugees prevailing in the country. Who opposes the CAB?. -The major oppposition in the parliament INC opposes the bill and walked away

-Clause 5 of Assam states any foreigner who enters Assam on or after 1.1.1966 and up to 1971 March 24,shall be detected in accordance with the foreignes act 1946,and foreignes order 1964. -And their names will be deleted from electrol role. -They would have to register for Registration of foreigners act 1939, registration of foreigners rule 1939. -They conduct a national register of Citizens(NRC),to identify the genuine indians.the only way to prove is show any proof of name in the electrol list till March 24 1971. -The present ammendment goes against the NRC,and any Hindu person who moved to India say on December 2012 needs to show that he resided for 7 years here that means December 2005.
